Annie Lennox
Annie Lennox is a Scottish native singer. She was born on the 25th of December in 1954, at Aberdeen. Dorothy Farquharson & Thomas Allison Lennox is the name of her parents. Lennox won a scholarship award to study at London's Royal Academy of Music for 3 years. Lennox made it through on a student's stipend working part-time in order in order to earn a living. Lennox, while studying in the Royal Academy of Music in London, was not happy with her performance compared to that of the other students. Then she began to consider different options. Lennox was initially musician with the group Dragons Playground. She left the band before the band went on I.T.V.s talent show New Faces. Between 1977 and 1980, she was the main vocalist of The Tourists, a British Pop group. In this band, she met Dave Stewart who would later create Eurythmics. Lennox started working on her solo debut album Diva and it was released around 1992. Both commercially as well as critically, it was an enormous hit. Nostalgia Lennoxs Sixth Solo Album came out on October 31, 2014. The C.D. Lennox chose her favorite soul jazz blues tracks from early childhood. Lepidoptera, a collection four piano improvisations was published by Lennox in May of 2019. The E.P. She released her first solo album in conjunction with her work at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art, titled "Now I'll Let You Go."
